3 Hebrew Words for Peace, Grace and Hope
Three of the most beautiful words in the Hebrew Bible describe something you receive rather than something you achieve. Shalom, hen, and tikvah — usually rendered peace, grace, and hope — each carry more than the English can hold. Hebrew has a way of folding an entire worldview into a single root. Read these three slowly, and verses you have known for years begin to open differently.
Each word here comes with the same four things: what it means, how it reads with Christ at the center, a verse worth memorising, and something to do with it this week.
