What IsraelForYou is
IsraelForYou is a reading app and website: guides, a Hebrew lexicon and Scripture texts, written from Israel for personal study. The content is educational and devotional in nature.
Your license
You may use the app and the site for personal, non-commercial reading and study. Quote the guides with attribution to IsraelForYou; do not republish them wholesale, offer them for sale, or use them to train datasets without written permission.
Scripture
English Scripture quotations are from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. Russian quotations are from the Synodal translation. Where a guide quotes another translation, it is named beside the quotation.
Intellectual property
The guides, lexicon entries, audio narrations, artwork and design are original work and belong to IsraelForYou, except where another source is credited.
Pro purchases and billing
Pro access is sold only as an Apple in-app purchase. The price, currency and any applicable tax are shown in the App Store purchase confirmation before you buy. Apple processes the payment and charges the payment method attached to your Apple Account; IsraelForYou does not receive your payment-card details.
Monthly and annual subscriptions
Monthly Pro and Annual Pro are auto-renewable subscriptions with one-month and one-year billing periods respectively. Unless you cancel, Apple renews the subscription at the end of each period and charges the renewal price shown or notified by Apple, plus any applicable tax.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings or in the App Store. Cancellation turns off the next renewal. Pro access normally continues through the period already paid for unless Apple refunds or revokes the transaction.
Lifetime purchase
Lifetime Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Its Pro entitlement does not expire or auto-renew. “Lifetime” describes the purchase type; it is not a guarantee that the app, operating-system compatibility or every feature will be supported forever.
Restore, billing questions and support payments
Use Restore Purchases in the app to ask StoreKit to sync eligible purchases associated with your Apple Account; restoring does not create a new charge. Apple handles billing records, cancellations and refund requests under its terms.
Pro purchases pay only for digital Pro access. Optional project support may be offered separately after Apple publishes three fixed, repeatable consumable purchases. If available, it unlocks no content or features, is not restorable, and is not represented as a tax-deductible charitable donation. The app offers no arbitrary amount or external checkout.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app or the site: no unlawful use, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the software, and no passing the content off as your own or as someone else's.
Apple terms
Your download and purchases are also governed by the applicable Apple Media Services Terms. Where these terms are silent, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the App Store copy.
No warranty
The app and the site are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We work to keep the content accurate and the software reliable, but we cannot promise it is free of errors or interruptions.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, IsraelForYou is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the app or the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
Changes
These terms may change. The version on this page, with its effective date, is the one in force.
