4 Hebrew Words for Worship and Wisdom
Four Hebrew words describe what it is to stand before God. Kavod, kadosh, baruch, and chokmah — glory, holiness, blessing, and wisdom — tell you who God is and how a person draws near to Him. Each grows from a root with something concrete underneath it: weight, separation, a bent knee, skill in the hands. Knowing what lies underneath changes how these words sound when you pray them.
Each word here comes with the same four things: what it means, how it reads with Christ at the center, a verse worth memorising, and something to do with it this week.
